The honest truth about this
The location is great for visiting nearby attractions, and the breakfast was exceptional. The property is well-maintained and exudes charm and character.
While the facilities are inviting, they show signs of age and need updating. Service issues with room amenities detracted from the experience.

The stay was overall quite pleasant, especially enjoying the cozy fireplace in our spacious suite and the complimentary breakfast, which was pretty good! We loved lounging near the beautiful gardens and took advantage of the outdoor seating area with a lovely view. One downside was the room showing some wear and tear, but it didn't take away from our experience. 😊

There's a lot to love about this place! The spacious grounds provided a peaceful retreat for my large family, and we thoroughly enjoyed the cookery classes that were both fun and educational. The breakfast was fantastic and had plenty of options to please everyone.
My kids wished for a better check-in experience. it was a bit hectic.

Great stay with fun vibes!
I was there for 2 nights with my family, and it was awesome! The gardens were beautiful, and we loved the evening bands in the bar. The breakfast was solid, too. Just wished the fireworks for July 1st were a bit more organized. Overall, a fun place to relax and enjoy!

The room was beautiful, spacious, and featured a lovely outdoor patio, which offered breathtaking views of the surrounding gardens. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh pastries and attentive service from the staff making it a delightful start to the day. However, the older lady at the reception was quite unhelpful regarding room arrangements for my elderly family members, and the dinner at Amelia’s Garden didn’t live up to the hype, particularly the dry fish and bland beef. Basic room amenities were lacking, especially for an upgraded suite room.

great atmosphere but room for improvement
The garden was a tranquil escape with well-maintained flowers and seating areas. Live music added a charming touch to our evenings, enhancing our overall experience. The nearby trail for walks is perfect for families looking to enjoy the outdoors together.
The bed was comfortable, but the pillows could use more support.

I stayed here for a weekend getaway and really loved the cozy vibe. The staff greeted me with warm smiles and were super friendly, making me feel right at home. The room was spacious and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed. Breakfast was a highlight. I enjoyed fresh pastries and great coffee each morning. The atmosphere in the pub was lively, with excellent live music in the evening. However, I did notice that the carpets in my room had a bit of a musty smell. The bathroom could use some attention, as it looked somewhat outdated, and the shower had issues with cleanliness. Slightly disappointing given the otherwise pleasant experience. Still, the strong service and delicious food kept my spirits high. I'd definitely consider coming back, with hopes of improved room maintenance.
